Steven Kent, MD
Dr. Steven Kent, MD is a board-certified Dermatologist and fellowship-trained Mohs micrographic and reconstructive surgeon.
A native to Macon, Georgia, Dr. Kent completed medical school and Dermatology residency at the Medical College of Georgia. Dr. Kent continued his dermatologic surgical training by completing a rigorous, ACGME accredited fellowship in Mohs micrographic and reconstructive surgery at Scripps Clinic in La Jolla, California, under the direction of Dr. Hugh Greenway. Additionally, Dr. Kent completed extensive training in laser surgery and cosmetic dermatology under Dr. Edward “Vic” Ross, a world-renowned expert in laser surgery and cosmetic dermatology.
Dr. Kent specializes in Mohs surgery for difficult and recurrent skin cancer and complex facial reconstruction. His professional expertise includes comprehensive management of skin cancer, (especially high-risk skin cancer), aesthetic reconstruction, laser surgery, cosmetic, and general dermatology.
Dr. Steven Kent is board certified by the American Board of Dermatology and is board certified in Mohs.
Dr. Steven Kent is married with four children. He enjoys spending time with his family and friends, his two dogs, playing music, attending live concerts, and cooking.
