Karen Gunter, FNP-C,

Karen Gunter, FNP-C, is a licensed and board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner dedicated to providing compassionate, patient-centered care. She earned her Master of Science in Nursing from Augusta University and completed her Family Nurse Practitioner training at Georgia College & State University.

Before becoming a nurse practitioner, Karen worked as a registered nurse at Piedmont Augusta, gaining valuable clinical experience in patient care. Her healthcare background also includes experience as a medical assistant in dermatology and practice as a nurse practitioner in both primary care and urgent care settings.

A proud native of South Georgia, Karen is honored to serve patients in Georgia’s Lake Country and is passionate about providing high-quality dermatologic care, helping individuals achieve and maintain healthy skin through personalized, compassionate treatment.

Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her husband, family, and friends, being on the water, and spending time outdoors.
